Motor Run Capacitors

Cambridge Capacitors range of motor run capacitors are designed for permanent connection in the auxiliary windings of a single phase induction motor.   Typical applications for this range include domestic appliances, pumps, air-conditioner units and office machinery.

They are permanent duty types rated up to 450V a.c. with a capacitance range of up to 40µF in self extinguishing plastic cases with the option of an M8 stud for base mounting.   The capacitors are of the non-impregnated dry film type and use a very low loss polypropylene film which has an extremely thin self healing layer deposited on it utilising a high vacuum process.

These are manufactured under our ISO 9001 QA system and are 100% tested to ensure complete safety and reliability.  The available range meets the requirements of EN60252 with a choice of temperature and life ratings.
