Dual Capacitors

Cambridge Capacitors range of dual capacitors are specifically designed for dual fan and compressor duty in air-conditioner applications.  The capacitors are manufactured using dry (Metallised polypropylene) film with two concentric windings which provide two independent capacitors in the most space efficient form.

By utilising the inherent advantages of dry film capacitor technology in air-conditioning applications, the problems of leakage of "wet" type impregnated capacitors is eliminated.  No matter what the impregnated capacitor construction may be there is always the risk that liquids may escape from the capacitor case.  This could be due to a manufacturing fault or degradation of the sealing material.

The capacitors are rated up to 440V a.c. with a capacitance range of up to 60µF housed in flame retardant plastic cases.  Quick disconnect terminations are individually identified for ease of assembly and are separated by a moulded barrier providing a high degree of terminal to terminal isolation.

The capacitors are manufactured under our ISO 9001 QA system and are 100% tested to ensure complete safety and reliability.  Approvals include UL and CSA specifications.
